Watch Where You're Going

A message to people with hectic schedule as well as mind.

Each letter of the phrase was stenciled with flour. The medium was originally supposed to stay temporarily at the scene until it blew away.

However, the people became an unexpected part of the installation. As they stepped over the type, they packed the flour into the cement. Making the phrase into a firm statement.

When I visited the project the next day, there was an evidence that there was an attempt to erase the statement with water. Ironically that made the flour into glue and became a permanent statement.
